Vibrant and Waterproof Labels

The L501 utilises Duo ink technology which is designed for the user to interchange between using pigment and dye based inks. This dual ink feature uses separate CMYK cartridges and printhead to enable a quick transition from durable and waterproof labels to ultra vibrant colourful labels.

Built on HP thermal inkjet technology, the Afinia L501 colour label printer offers great value to small to mid sized applications, with separate CMYK cartridges which offers better ink costs compared to tri-colour cartridges.

Pigment and Dye-based Labels

Pigment-based prints are highly resistant to the challenges of moisture, abrasion, sun-fading, and extreme temperature. This makes the L501 perfect for packaging requiring GHS compliance, as well as those with high exposure to moisture, such as beverages and bath products.

The L501’s dye-based prints are high-impact, colorful, and vibrant, making them ideal for prime labeling applications, such as in retail environments.
